Approach to Therapy

I offer both individual and couples therapy, focusing on anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. I often find these issues connect with deeper themes around self-esteem, shame, or fear. My approach is compassionate, warm, and integrative, blending different modalities and techniques including CBT, psychodynamic, and mindfulness.
My hope is to create a safe and collaborative space together, where we can really work on the issues that matter most. New York Wellness was created by Jesse Strigler, L.M.H.C. Jesse received his M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Yeshiva University, and has trained in various clinical settings, including hospitals, outpatient addiction treatment, and private practice.
